About Heidi Olson Campbell

They Also Served is hosted by Heidi Olson Campbell, a Seventh-day Adventist historian, researcher and author who interests are on the impact of religion and the political milieu on perceptions of gender roles in early modern Europe.

Heidi is a Ph.D Candidate and Teacher of Record at Baylor University, where she is currently researching her dissertation focusing on Paul's Cross sermons—a site of governmental and popular religious debate during the long English Reformation. It will examine how exemplars for women change in religious rhetoric in this series of sermons during the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries.
